As a Boilermaker, you'll work alongside a supportive crew of experienced professionals, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of large-scale industrial plant and equipment. What You'll Do Preventative Maintenance : You'll inspect and maintain our large and complex plant to ensure these vital systems run smoothly and efficientlyUpgrades and Installations : You'll enhance and improve existing boilers and equipment aiming to ensure a seamless and efficient power supply while driving innovation and performanceTroubleshooting and Repair : You'll diagnose and resolve performance issues and mechanical failures ensuring repairs are done efficiently to minimise downtimeTechnical Guidance : You'll guide and mentor apprentices and other team members, while also collaborating with and monitoring contractor workers to ensure quality and efficiency when requiredProcess Improvements : You'll assess current maintenance practices and propose strategies to boost efficiency and drive better performanceSafety and Compliance : You'll prioritise safety in every task, rigorously adhering to company standards and legal requirements to ensure the safest possible work environmentWhat You'll Bring You are a qualified Boilermaker and have had the opportunity to hone your skills in real-world settings since completing your apprenticeship and obtaining your trade certificateYou bring expertise in welding, with pressure welding experience and / or relevant qualifications (e.g. AS 1796 Cert 7) considered highly desirableYou bring in-depth knowledge of modern power stations or other heavy industry and have an interest in working with large process plantYou're an analytical problem-solver who prides yourself on precision, quality, and attention to detailYou are equally effective working collaboratively with others or handling tasks independentlyYou thrive in high-pressure environments, consistently delivering safe, high-quality work on timeYou're a team player who values mentoring and supporting others to succeedYou enjoy building relationships across all levels and have outstanding communication skillsYou are dedicated to both process and personal safety, ensuring that all activities meet the highest standards and compliance requirementsWhat We Offer Enjoy a great work-life balance in a supportive and family friendly team environmentWork a 9-day fortnightHave the flexibility to take on overtime if you're interestedEarn a competitive hourly rate of $52 to $71 plus an impressive 13.5% superannuationBenefit from organisation-wide bonus opportunitiesEnjoy working close to home on the beautiful Central Coast NSWAccess generous EA benefits and leave options, including additional personal leave, study leave and up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave for eligible employeesTake advantage of ongoing training, leadership programs, study assistance and secondment opportunitiesUtilise our Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional supportBenefit from study, fitness, employee discounts and novated lease programsWhy Delta?
