I am currently partnered with a large Federal Government agency to recruit a skilled and experienced APS6 Case Manager for a 12-month full-time contract based in Perth, WA.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment where your ability to manage complex casework, collaborate with stakeholders, and resolve sensitive matters will make a genuine difference.
Key Responsibilities : Manage a caseload of complex and sensitive matters, making informed and timely decisions.Provide operational, technical, and policy advice to internal and external stakeholders.Use analytical and problem-solving skills to manage cases efficiently and with attention to detail.Prepare executive briefs, reports, and case documentation to a high standard.Represent the agency in meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes.Adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines. Key Requirements : Demonstrated experience in complex case management and high-level decision-making.Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience preparing formal documentation.Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Desirable : Awareness or understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).Understanding of disability and inclusion principles.Familiarity with administrative law processes or tribunal proceedings.
