Based at the Launceston General Hospital, the Office of the Chief Executive Hospitals North (OCEHN) consists of a small team that manages the Office's workflows and supports the Chief Executive Hospitals North.The Role : Contribute to the management and coordination of the Office of the Chief Executive Hospitals North providing information and guidance on emerging issues of relevance.Responsible for the provision of high-level analysis and advice on strategic policy issues including monitoring of strategic projects across Hospitals North.You will needExperience leading and coordinating a small team within a busy, complex professional environment while providing frank and timely advice to a senior executive lead.High level conceptual, analytical, research and interpersonal skills and the ability to utilise these to deliver outcomes.A proven ability to think strategically to manage priorities, balance competing interests and positively manage change.Note : - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why TasmaniaThe Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
