Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 20% of the world’s manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a permanent full-time position on a 4 : 3 (4 days on 3 days off) roster either residential on Groote Eylandt or FIFO from Darwin / Cairns.

Domestic relocation to Alyangula, Darwin, or Cairns from anywhere in Australia is provided.

As the Senior Project Studies & Approvals Advisor , you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of environmental and social impact assessment studies that will enable planned exploration and mining activities to access future resources.
