The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of the role, which involves the daily service as part of a team at a Sandvik Rock Tools Contract site.The role is based at our underground client mine sites in Western Australia and will see you engaged in direct customer service and Rock Tools operational activities.This position can be either FIFO or local (Kalgoorlie, Leinster or Perth).

If FIFO; candidates must be based in Perth with reliable access to the Perth Domestic AirportAreas of responsibility : Managing drilling consumables inventories to drill sitesUndertaking daily deliveries and stock replenishment to sites (Underground and Surface)Undertaking deliveries and stock replenishment to siteAnalysing and reporting on drilling consumable performance, condition, and failuresPositively engaging with our client's mining operatorsAdministration of products usage and contract requirementsAdhere to environmental, health and safety requirementsRepairs and reconditioning of hammersTimely data entry and record keepingValid manual C Class Driver's licenseAbility to work on a FIFO roster (8 days on / 6 days off – 12 hour days, day shift only)Ability to pass a police clearanceHigh customer focus and positive service orientation and attitudeAble to perform independently and in teamsAdaptable and resilientAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol testingYour profileYou must have a strong safety commitment as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of on-site service contracts, underground mining, and familiarity with Sandvik drilling products would also be favourable.You will have aptitude for learning and the ability to engage in labour intensive work; you have receptiveness to training and guidance; safety behaviours; and effective communication and collaboration skills.

These will be the foundation of your progression to the Rock Tool activities you will be required to perform.This role will also require you to safely lift a minimum of 40kgs, so physical fitness is a must.This role can suit either entry level candidates or those with experience in rock tools or underground mining.What we offerJoin us for an exciting career with endless opportunities!
