Role and RegionPosition Profile : Provision of secretarial and clerical services for various administrative areas within WACHS - Goldfields to cover for leave relief.
Area Profile : The Goldfields region of WACHS covers the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia, located in the southeastern corner, covering 770,488 sq km (including offshore islands). The region includes two main health campuses in Kalgoorlie & Esperance, and three smaller hospitals in Laverton, Leonora, and Norseman. It is a culturally rich region with numerous Aboriginal communities, 16 distinct Aboriginal language groups, and an Aboriginal population representing 12.3% of the total population. The region supports industries like mining, agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism, with mining being predominant in the central and northern parts and agriculture in the south.
