Dangerous Goods Truck Driver / General Hand

The roster will for the DG Truck Driver / GH will be 2 weeks on 1 week off with Accommodation provided on Horn Island  FIFO from Cairns.

The successful applicants will be customer focused, friendly with a can do attitude, must be hard working and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently within a team.

This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, dispatching and delivery of general freight, petroleum and dangerous goods in accordance with Sea Swift’s documented procedures and standards.

The following skills and experience are required :

• Demonstrated experience with regards to the cargo receival, consolidation and dispatching processes
• Demonstrated experience of dealing with customers who are delivering cargo
• Certificate III in Transport & Distribution preferred
• Current Dangerous Goods Transport Licence.
• HC licence
• Forklift licence
• Experience in transport industry
