Position : Senior Civil Designer

Company : Tier 1 EPCM in Mining

Location : Perth CBD

Employment Type : Casual Contractor

Contract length : Initial 12 months with possibility of extension

Role Overview

Our client, a leading global EPCM, is looking for a Senior Civil Designer to join a team of 12D civil designers and engineers to play a key role in delivering medium to large projects within multidiscipline environment adhering to applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

As a key member of the team, you will :

• Produce 2D drawings in MicroStation based on 12D models or similar design inputs.
• Attend project meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow established review and checking procedures.
• Clarify project scope and flag scope changes to the lead structural engineer in line with change management protocols.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to support engineering studies, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Facilitate clear communication between the civil engineering team, stakeholders, and clients.
