We're a Tier 2 registered Community Housing Provider, managing 316 properties for over 360 supported tenancies. We work in partnership with other organisations to deliver sustainable housing solutions and adopt a supportive landlord model that's embedded in a person-centred approach. About the Role Are you a strategic leader with a passion for supporting individuals and communities? You'll drive a proactive, positive culture and help ensure the financial sustainability of our housing programs in line with our broader strategic goals.
What You'll Bring To thrive in this role, you'll need to show :
Proven leadership and management experience, including team development, performance management, and fostering professional growth. Strong ability to build and lead high-performing teams that provide safe, high-quality services. A track record of meeting contract deliverables and driving strategic outcomes. Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills — internally and externally. Strong relationship-building capabilities and a well-established professional network. Confidence managing tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality. A talent for streamlining systems, identifying inefficiencies, and leading operational improvements. Sound resource planning skills to ensure efficient, effective program delivery. Experience managing compliance across a range of frameworks, including : Community Housing Regulatory Framework Property headlease agreements National Safety and Quality Mental Health Standards for Community Managed Organisations Experience with budget oversight and financial accountability across service areas. Demonstrated ability to lead effective workforce planning, including recruitment and staff retention. Experience working with funders, government bodies, and partners to maintain funding and compliance. What You'll Need Relevant tertiary qualifications or 5+ years of sector experience. At least 5 years' experience in people management, including performance, development, and remuneration. At least 5 years managing service delivery, financial oversight, and risk and stakeholder management. Previous experience working with or within government housing agencies (highly regarded).
