Bookkeeping Manager

Global Accounting firm are seeking a Bookkeeping Manager to manage a team of six providing guidance & mentoring to the team & help to support the day to day operations of the practice. Accounting / Bookkeeping experience in public practice accounting along with experience managing a team is essential for your success.

The Company :

Global professional services Accounting practice based in the CBD have a newly created role for an experienced bookkeeper with solid leadership skills & at least 4 years in public practice. Within the role you will oversee & help support a team of 7 bookkeepers with a wide range of tasks for a diverse range of clients in a growing business.

The role :

• Mentor & guide a team of finance assistants / bookkeepers
• Assisting with monthly reporting ( BAS, P&L, BS etc.)
• Provide guidance on complex tasks, & liaise with regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will have :

• 3 years Public Practice Accounting experience
• Solid leadership skills
• Solid experience using Xero and MYOB
• Great Client facing skills & enjoys client interaction
