My client is seeking a motivated and skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join their team. As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will play a critical role in assembling, installing, and maintaining hydraulic systems for our clients in the Brisbane region.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to assemble hydraulic systems.Install and test hydraulic components, valves, cylinders and hydraulic power units.Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.Collaborate with customers to understand their hydraulic system requirements and provide expert advice and solutions.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, maintenance schedules, and equipment records.Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.RequirementsProven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or similar role.In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and their functionality.Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve hydraulic system issues.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.A valid driver's license is required.Relevant trade qualifications or certifications as a Hydraulic Fitter or equivalent.What we offer :
