- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage ongoing security operations for corporate clients.
- Develop and implement security strategies in both physical security and cybersecurity domains.
- Plan and manage large-scale functions and security operations.
- Escort high-profile individuals and delegations across Australia and internationally.
- Optimize resources to meet business requirements efficiently.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new security personnel.
- Develop and maintain Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with risk assessments.
- Design and deliver training programs for clients and staff.
- Maintain and oversee rostering systems and security platforms.
- Report regularly to internal management and external clients.
- Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company assets, equipment, uniforms, and vehicles.
- Conduct site visits, coaching, and mentoring of security officers.
- Undertake interstate and international travel as necessary.
- Required Experience, Knowledge, and Competencies
- High-level expertise in both physical security and cybersecurity, minimum ten years of experience.
- International experience in security operations of no less than five years in a managerial role.
- Tactical and executive protection (bodyguarding) experience min two years.
- Proven ability to execute risk analysis and develop operational security plans.
- Experience writing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in team management.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Office 365.
- Qualifications
- Framework (AQF) bachelor or higher degree and in a field related to the role.
- Certified Information Security Officer (CISO)
- Qualifications assist by (AQF)
- Proficiency in languages is an advantage.
- Experience working with large government bodies / corporations is an advantage.
- Additional Requirements
- The position is based in Melbourne.
- Flexibility to work in a 24 / 7 operational environment.
- Willingness to travel interstate and internationally as required.
Pay : $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
