With extraordinary dining options, including Sokyo, BLACK Bar and Grill, Cucina Porto and our vibrant Sports Bar where the action is live and loud, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate entertainment, hospitality, and dining experiences for all.The Demi Pastry Chef reports directly to the Pastry Sous Chef - Pastry and offers an energetic and exciting hands-on approach to flawless product execution in an environment focused on safety and culinary excellence.This is a fantastic opportunity to create unforgettable dessert experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest.A few of your responsibilitiesSupport or lead the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef and provide training to junior staff members.Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasksMaintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstationsComplete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirementsMeet requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast-paced environmentWhat are we looking forCulinary School Graduate.

Received apprenticeship training in PastryProficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.2 years of experience post apprenticeship in food preparation, preferably in a café, hotels or high-volume setting, with strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws.Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.About YouYou are passionate and creative, willing to share your skills and expertise in guiding and shaping those who are new to the pastry kitchen.

With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and management as well as interacting with our customers.
