- Essential
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and current Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of teaching and learning
- Practical knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Demonstrated ability to work as a change agent in relation to clinical practice and act as an information source to staff
- Superior written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve positive outcomes for residents, clients and the development of staff
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to use initiative and judgement in work planning and decision making
- Motivation to support and encourage staff to further develop clinical and professional skills.
- Desirable
- Experience in the Aged Care industry desirable but not essential. Registered Nurses with a keen interest in Aged Care looking to step-up will also be considered
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent
Additional Tertiary qualifications or post registration certificates in Dementia Care, or Specialised Nursing Care
