Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

• The aim of this role is to
• Support the HR Business Partners and the HR Division to delivering of a range of HR business services (as outline above in the purpose), ensuring services meet expectations, with a proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise.
• Provide high level advisory services to clients on diverse matters across HR related issues, needs and business requirement.
• Be the first point of contact for HR Operational and transaction enquiries.
• Manage and participate in projects to meet Strategic and Business Plan requirements.
• Undertake Organisational Development activities including job design, evaluation and role description preparation and establishment variations.
• Maintain information bases of legislation and policy directives impacting on the organisation from external agencies.
• Benchmark and monitor performance service delivery standards within the People & Culture Services and across the QBCC reporting on findings.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and encourage a culture of innovation and continual improvement.
• Prepare reports, submissions, and other correspondence of a complex nature in relation to a range of human resources issues.
• Demonstrated record of achievement in providing high level HR advisory and support services to senior stakeholders.
• High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of staff and stakeholders within a complex organisation as well as a capacity to build credibility managers.
• Excellent written skills and communication skills specifically related to report writing and drafting of correspondence.
