    • As our Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering administrative and project support to project teams, taking on a pivotal position. Your responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the seamless execution of projects through active involvement in planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.

    To succeed in this endeavour, you will :

  • Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and coordination with project managers and team members.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify risks, issues, and propose remedial actions.
  • Coordinate project meetings, handling scheduling, agenda preparation, and documenting outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication, collaboration among project stakeholders, and support implementation of project management tools.

    • Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role :

  • You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
  • Relevant qualifications or professional development within the Project Management discipline.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Defence or professional services industries.
  • A natural ability to build trusted relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
  • Previous experience supporting projects in a government or Defence organisation. You'll love process, coordination, and being in an environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  • A strong track record in liaising with resources to ensure services are delivered for current and future demand.
  • Strong communication skills, and you'll also be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems.

    • More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.
