Contracts Officer

Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Contracts Officer on a contract for 12 months with 2x12 months extension options.

• Duties & Responsibilities
• Contract management, governance, and administration to support the Contract Manager and stakeholders.
• Support complex procurements for governance, compliance, performance, and accountability.
• Manage supplier relationships.
• Financial management and tracking of contracts and procurements.
• Assessment against agreed performance measures.
• Record and manage contract enquiries.
• Prepare minutes and agendas for contract meetings.
• Corporate Document Management and Filing.
• Mailbox Management.
• Skills required include
• Thorough understanding of the PGPA Act for complex procurements.
• Complex contract management experience, with knowledge of CCS.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to problem solve.

• Certificate or qualification in Procurement and Contracting
• Mandatory Requirements
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
• Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance (minimum)
