Job descriptionAbout us The role Personal care : showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance Social support / transportation for social activities, shopping / groceries, travelling to medical appointments Domestic assistance : light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment Supporting customers with complex and / or challenging needs Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress Provide updates on customer progress following each service This role is based in Perth Metro area About you Caring, compassionate & friendly Good interpersonal skills & written / verbal communication skills Reliable & dependable Ability to build rapport & good working relationships Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes / feedback What you will need A sound understanding of the standards, competencies, and codes of practice NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate Current First Aid certificate / CPR Current Drivers License Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle Smart phone with internet access Current Working with Children Check (preferred) Cert III in Aged Care / Individual Support or Cert III in Home & Community Care or Cert IV in Disability or Equivalent At least 1 year of relevant experience Built strong relationships with clients by taking the time to get to know them What we offer Full-Time Position Training & professional development opportunities (including free access to online learning tools & programs) Friendly, flexible and supportive work environment Access to our free Employee Assistance Program Staff recognition programs Salary Range : $70,000 - $75,000 Next Steps
