About the Role As the Senior Lecturer in Nursing, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and coordination of courses within nursing undergraduate and postgraduate programs and make a significant research contribution in related areas. The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the University's teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly, research and / or professional activities.

To Be Successful You Will Need Bachelor of Nursing and possession of a Doctoral degree (PhD) qualification in a relevant health disciplineRegistration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse or ability to apply and obtainAn established and relevant portfolio of research, with evidence of securing competitive funding, publications in refereed journals and / or quality NTROs and supervision of HDR studentsExperience of course co-ordination and teaching students in undergraduate, preregistration and postgraduate nursing programsAcademic leadership experience – e.g. program leadership, curriculum development, course design and course writingHigh level written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to positively contribute to the academic team and other key stakeholder relationshipsContinued engagement with the discipline and practice, supporting the advancement of nursing and demonstrating impactWhy Join Us?
