Operations Supervisor - Hazelmere W.A

Job Description / The Role The role of the Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the business unit achieves the KPI's set for the operations and manages customer relations at a local level ensuring a win-win approach to business solutions over the allocated shift. This role will also contribute to strategies and establish and act on the tactics and processes for its implementation. Ensure all site safety, company compliance, subcontractor compliance requirements are met and enforced. The Operations Supervisor may also perform any duties or functions that are ancillary to the Transport Operations which are needed to support and grow the business.

Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Operations Supervisor

• Organise vehicles and drivers to meet the customer load requirements.- Monitor subcontractor drivers to ensure that customer requirements are met.- Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.- Comply with CoR (Chain of Responsibility) requirements, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Load Restraint, and all aspects of the NHVR.- Ensure all subcontractors used have been appropriately reviewed in accordance with contractor management procedures.- Actively lead in the roll-out of toolbox meetings and other communications to workers and contractors.
