• High Wycombe, Perth

Due to growth, we have two positions available; one is predominantly operational and the other will focus more on reporting, administration & compliance and act as a backup operator (so will need sound Freight Forwarding experience). Both positions play a vital role in coordinating the movement of cargo, with a particular emphasis on Projects Cargo and Large Out of Gauge Freight. You will be responsible for arranging and managing the shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

• Key Areas
• Preparing Quotes as required, Air / Sea, Out of Gauge, Domestic Road / Air
• Performing day to day operations of project shipments
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinating and assist with onsite handling.
• Project Compliance.
• Project Administration & Reporting.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to transportation activities.
• Continuously monitor and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Keep management informed of any issues requiring attention, suggesting and implementing approved solutions.
• About You
• Previous experience as a Projects Coordinator in the Freight Forwarding industry is highly desirable.
• Practical experience in handling Projects Cargo, including Large Out of Gauge Freight, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Air / Sea / Road operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and transport operators.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel etc.)
