Risk Analyst We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Control Advisory team at Mercer Super.

This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to : Support the team in serving as subject matter experts on risk management frameworks, controls, and regulatory requirements.Assist in providing guidance to the business on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.Collect and analyse data related to risk and control activities, preparing reports that highlight key findings and trends.Coordinate training delivery and coaching for Line 1 teams, ensuring effective engagement and understanding of risk management practices.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Line 1 Risk team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.What you need to have : 1-3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or control advisory within the superannuation or financial services industries.A foundational understanding of superannuation business activities, products, and associated regulations, including APRA guidance and industry standards.Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills to convey risk concepts clearly.What makes you stand out : Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline (desirable).Experience with data analysis tools and a basic understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Why join our team : We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact for colleagues, clients, and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
