Senior Storage Administrator

12 + 12 + 12 month contract - November 2025 StartMust hold TSPV Security ClearanceOur client, a large Federal Government organisation responsible for providing intelligence support to Australian military operations require the services of Senior Storage Administrator.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduce designs, design patterns, configurations, and documentation in accordance with industry standards for storage and backup system.Perform deployments, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and administration functions for storage arrays, associated SAN and enterprise backup systems.Implement SAN infrastructure / architecture (FC HBA's, fabrics, SAN's, etc.)

and Cisco MDS SAN switches.Deploy configure and manage enterprise storage arrays.Troubleshoot and restore storage systems after failures and issues.Skills and Experience RequiredManages the storage and backup systems to provide agreed service levels.A Bachelor Degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, applied math, statistics, physics or a related field.A strong understanding of storage technologies, SAN and NAS and protocols such as iSCSI, FC and FCoE.Background and demonstrated ability managing storage infrastructure, SAN infrastructure and backup infrastructure.Understanding of data replication technologies and schemas.Strong understanding of analytics software.Experience implementing and administrating Hitachi Vantara and Pure Storage storage systems, Commvault backup systems, and Cisco MDS SAN switching.
