ABOUT THE ROLE's 💛
Apex Radiology, located in O'Connor, is seeking 2 enthusiastic and experienced Booking Centre Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for patients and referrers, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and supporting our clinical team.
Reporting to the local Administration Supervisor, your responsibilities will include :
- Representing Apex Radiology as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
- Answering the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
- Make patient bookings while maximising appointment slots
- Informing patients of relevant preparation, costing estimates, and requirement to present relevant concession cards.
- Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of fellow Receptionists, Booking Centre Agents, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES🧩
Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients.Answer telephone enquiries with empathy and efficiency.Manage patient bookings and maximise appointment availability.Clearly communicate preparation instructions, cost estimates, and concession requirements.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including Radiologists, Technologists, and fellow admin staff.Actioning patient referrals & following processes while adhering to confientiality requirements.ABOUT YOU 💪
A 'Patient First' mindset with a proactive, self-driven attitude.Strong background in medical administration using patient entry or bookings systems (Radiology, General Practice, or Allied Health highly regarded).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and calm under pressure.High attention to detail, especially for data entry, EFTPOS, and cash handling.Confident working across multiple digital platforms.WHAT WE OFFER 🎁
