The Role
This exciting position forms a key part of our growth strategy and will see you supporting the Senior Commercial Manager executing each regional account plan within SE Asia, NZ, and Spain regions. In this position you will learn how to build distributor relationships and execute retail promotional plans across our portfolio of products which include iconic Australian brands and emerging international market leading brands. You'll learn the ropes of export account management from an experienced senior team and have a flexible working environment within an iconic Sunshine Coast location.
You can expect to support the retail distribution expansion via the distributor network to achieve financial targets and to ensure the relationship between McCormick and our retail customers is second to none.
So, how will you do this?
Assist the Senior Commercial Manager to execute each regional account strategy
Identify new distribution opportunities within each region
Prepare sales forecasts for sign off at monthly demand meetings
Identify and understand market trends that impact our monthly sales forecast
Work with the marketing team to execute national campaigns and promotions for our iconic brands
Attend in market and virtual customer meetings where you will hone your presentation and negotiation skills
Prepare presentation materials and data for sign off and learning the role of a commercial manager

About You
We have tailored this role and the training opportunities to someone who is serious about growing their career in sales, so if you have had some exposure to B2B Sales with an interest in the FMCG industry, or distributor experience this could be the role for you.
Due to the export focus of this role, some knowledge of export or experience working with international customers / clients within retail would be an advantage but not essential as is the requirement for future travel.
