Mechanical Fitter

UGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance.  We are recruiting Mechanical Fitters to join our Operations & Maintenance team in what is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence Environment, supporting the national security requirements of the Nation.

The Role

Reporting through to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at one of two main sites in Perth’s surrounding suburbs, with occasional regional travel. These duties will include, but not limited to;

• Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
• Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
• Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
• Support subcontracted work packages as required
• Support various sites in greater Perth region, with occasional requirement to travel to regional locations in WA
