Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. Active areas include Galaxy underground, Cue open pit, and Penny underground, with further expansion and exploration underway.

The Role

Our Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity to rotate through underground, open pit, and exploration geology teams. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and the practical exposure needed to build a rewarding career in geology. You will :

• Undertake geological mapping, core logging, and sampling (RC and diamond)
• Assist with ore block mark-ups, stockpile management, and daily production tracking
• Learn and apply sound geological observation and recording techniques
• Support grade control and ore recovery efforts to minimise dilution
• Work with drilling contractors and conduct regular safety inspections
• Contribute to geological interpretation and modelling
• Manage and validate drillhole, assay, and production data
• Learn and apply blast movement monitoring techniques
• Communicate geological insights across departments and stakeholders
• Participate in project work and continuous improvement initiatives
