The Level Crossing Removal Project are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the project to the next stage of it's journey in removing some of Victoria's most dangerous level crossings.
Reporting to the MTIA Director-General, the CEO role is required to provide LXRP with strong leadership and motivate the organisation to establish priorities, deliver high-quality outcomes, and deliver large complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget. The CEO navigates complex and political environments, is the media spokesperson, minister liaison and provides the highest level of strategy, leadership and project delivery.
The CEO role dictates the culture at LXRP, sets the agenda for diversity and inclusion, and is hugely impactful across the transport and construction industry. We pride ourselves on all of these areas, and we are looking for someone to continue the legacy built by our previous CEO.
About you
You are a senior executive leader, with experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and programs of work within a complex major transport infrastructure environment. You have an in-depth knowledge of the rail industry, and you are passionate about the safety and wellbeing of LXRP staff, alliances and stakeholders.
