With a deep appreciation for the education sector, and a proven ability to drive strategic transformation, the incoming CEO will work within an already deeply engaged workplace culture to foster collaboration and inclusivity while inspiring innovation and creativity across the organisation.

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will shape and execute ESA's strategic direction in alignment with national education priorities.

Fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and high performance, the CEO will drive continuous improvement across programs and services.

Key areas of oversight include governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence and financial sustainability.

With a strong focus on innovation, the appointee will anticipate sector trends and position ESA to meet emerging challenges and opportunities.

Building trusted relationships with government, education providers, and stakeholders will be key to enhancing ESA's reputation and impact.

The CEO will lead a high-performing executive team, champion diversity and equity, and cultivate a collaborative workplace that empowers staff to deliver meaningful outcomes for educators and learners across Australia.
