Parks Team Member - Local Council

Maxima's client, a large local Council based in Marsden, is seeking an experienced Parks Team Member to join their urban team.

Casual hourly pay of $34.00 + super.

• Key Responsibilities
• Performing grass cutting activities (by using machinery such as ride-on mowers exceeding 12 hp, hand mowers, brush cutter, edgers and various other types of machinery)
• Plant / replant landscaped areas in road reserves or parks
• Mulching gardens and tree surrounds
• Pruning of shrubs and trees using hand tools, chainsaws and mechanical hedgers
• Inspect and clean park and associated equipment eg, remove rubbish, rake / sweep / blow down hard surfaces
• About You
• MR truck license or higher
• White Card
• ACDC license highly desired
• Experience to safely and competently operate plant and equipment associated with the position. such as truck, trailer, ride on mower, small plant : brush cutter, hedger, edger and blower
• Experience in horticultural maintenance and practices or equivalent including landscaping, pruning, turfing, planting and mowing
• Current vaccinations (or willing to get) - Hep A, Hep B, Tetanus and Qfever
