• The Hospital

Undergoing a significant multi-million-dollar redevelopment, this hospital is on the path to becoming a state-of-the-art facility. It currently boasts 66 beds catering to acute medical, surgical, pediatric, and maternity patients. The hospital features a 24-hour Emergency Department, serving approximately 45,000 presentations annually. Alongside emergency care, it offers a comprehensive range of services including ante-natal classes, lactation consultation, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, a hospital-at-home visiting service, asthma education, medical imaging, pathology, and same-day surgery.

• The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team. As part of the Emergency department, you will provide exceptional emergency care services to patients while demonstrating strong leadership skills. Your expertise, composed demeanor, and eagerness to mentor and advance your career will be highly valued and appreciated.

• Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should hold either the FACEM qualification or an equivalent qualification assessed by the ACEM as substantially comparable. Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain it is also required.

The remuneration for this position will depend on your experience, ranging from $355,000 to $454,000.

To be suitable for this role you will need to hold the FACEM have Specialist registration with AHPRA. Or be assessed by ACEM and deemed substantially comparable
