Centrally located in Northbridge, the Miss Maud Bakehouse is a well-equipped, dynamic facility producing a wide variety of high quality European products for the Miss Maud's stores.
About the RoleA unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stock and Administration Officer to join us on this journey and contribute positively to the continued success of the Company and taste satisfaction of our customers. This newly created role is like no other! You will be located at the Miss Maud Bakehouse in Northbridge and be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of production costs, supply chain operations, and stock control.
As a guide your role will include :
Ensuring recipes and stock codes are up to date in the Miss Maud internal stock systemPlaning and calculating the daily savory production whilst accurately maintaining systems forecasts;Completing supplier orders and liaising with suppliers and couriersTimely processing of all stock and product transactionsPlaning, organizing and participating in Bakehouse activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of stock and products.Reviewing and improving inventory control processesCompleting end of month procedures; including stock takes, stock adjustments and investigating discrepancies;Supporting the Miss Maud stores with product or delivery issuesParticipating in Bakehouse meetings whilst working collaboratively with the Bakehouse team to resolve any operational issuesObserving work health and safety regulations; maintaining the Bakehouse storeroom in a clean, safe and orderly condition.Performing additional duties as requested by the Bakehouse Operations ManagerProvide regular reporting on Bakehouse activities as required.About YouWhile this list is, in no way, conclusive, we expect you'll demonstrate the following skills and experience to be able to fly in this role :
Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, stock control methods and proceduresAn eye for detail and presentationAdvanced Microsoft skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectivelyReasonably fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasksHave reliable transport with a valid driver's licenseBe able to work in Australia without restrictions.You'll be joining a team of dedicated, experienced, professionals that value our people.
