Oshc Coordinator Birrong

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Birrong OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 31.5 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 9 : 00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2 : 30pm - 6 : 00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up block shifts during the school holidays too!

• About the role

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
• Who are we looking for?

• Enjoy working with kids
• Strong and clear communication
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader
• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
• Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
