The RoleProduction Manageris responsible for overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing processes to ensure that products are produced efficiently, safely, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, inventory control, quality assurance, and personnel management. Your will ensure safety is at the forefront in all work practices, whilst promoting an inclusive and fun team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet customer demand and production goals.Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all production activities, including manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.Manage inventory levels to ensure that raw materials and finished products are available when needed.Ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with established quality standards and regulationsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities.Implement, monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of the production processes.Ensure all team members are meeting performance targets and contributing to the overall success of the production team.Train and supervise production staff to ensure that they are adequately skilled and equipped to perform their duties.Ensure employee development plans are in place to implement succession pathways to provide sustainable leadership at all levels.Monitor and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Collaborate with other departments, projects, engineering, procurement, safety, and human resources to ensure that production processes are aligned with overall business objectives.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that all employees are working together safely, effectively and efficiently.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards related to all manufacturing activitiesAbout YouBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or relevant industry experience.Significant experience in production managementUnderstanding of the demands and requirements of the project construction industry.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyse data and make sound business decisions.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning software.Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and meet production targets.Desirable ExperienceFamiliarity with regulatory requirements for manufacturing operations.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologiesAdditional benefits includeSalary continuance insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), accessible to all employees and their familiesRetention bonus schemeAdditional paid days off exceeding annual leaveEmployee referral programWe are an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
