Job descriptionProvide strategic policy advice and support Review and interpret government policy at all levels Draft submissions and briefings on relevant issues and initiatives Build and maintain relationships with government bodies and local authorities Review business cases for strategic alignment Represent the organisation in external forums and negotiations Contribute to internal planning and cross-functional collaboration Tertiary qualification in a relevant field Extensive experience in public policy and strategic planning Strong stakeholder engagement and government liaison experience Proven project management capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High-level analytical and negotiation skills for more information Fremantle 93 per hour 7-Month Contract
On Track Recruitment Solutions are seeking an experienced Principal Public Policy Advisor for a 7-month contract commencing August 2025.
Details :
- Location : Fremantle, WA
- Hours : 40 per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract Length : August 2025 to March 2026
- Pay Rate : $93 per hour (flat rate)
- Start Date : ASAP
About the Role :
This position plays a key role in supporting senior leadership with public policy advice and government engagement. You will contribute to both one-off matters and long-term strategic planning, while acting as a central point of consultation between internal teams and external government stakeholders.
