Clearance : Must Have NV1 Clearance

Location : Williamstown

We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join a high-performance team based on-site at RAAF Base Williamtown. You must hold an NV1 clearance and be experienced in network engineering, systems administration, and enterprise-level infrastructure.

Role Summary : You will be responsible for :

Maintaining, securing, and optimizing network infrastructure.Providing systems support across simulation and exercise networks.Leading change management, configuration baselining, and documentation efforts.Supporting system architecture enhancements and troubleshooting failures.Delivering technical support for exercises, including overnight operations aligned with US time zones.Assisting with ICT security accreditation and Test & Evaluation processes.Key Deliverables : Establish baseline configurations and system documentation.Support integration and simulation software across distributed networks.Deliver systems admin functions : updates, patches, security configs.Monitor system health and manage obsolescence.Liaise across Defence and coalition stakeholders.Provide mentoring and guidance to RAAF staff.This is a mission-critical role requiring strong autonomy, problem-solving ability, and dedication to supporting Defence operations.
