Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your day to day responsibilities are as follows :
Ensure accurate and timely processing of revenue recognition, including accruals and deferrals, for month-end close while adhering to US GAAP standards.Review contracts and agreements to determine appropriate timing for revenue recognition and related accruals / deferrals, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and accounting standards.Process all revenue accruals and deferrals accurately and in accordance with US GAAP guidelines.Monitor and reconcile accrued and deferred revenue accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.Develop and maintain robust revenue forecasting models to predict future revenue streams accurately, ensuring alignment with US GAAP requirements.Analyse historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to inform revenue forecasts.Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to incorporate sales pipelines and contract information into revenue forecasts.Conduct regular financial analysis to assess revenue performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring all reporting is in accordance with US GAAP.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into revenue trends and variances.Report to, liaise with, and address any queries from the APAC Finance team, ensuring clear and timely communication. Continuously evaluate and improve revenue recognition, accrual, and deferral processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy while maintaining compliance with US GAAP.Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline workflows and minimize errors.Who are you?
