- The role
As the People and Capability Business Partner, you will be providing highly effective and customer-focussed advice and support to management and employees within your business portfolio by :
- Proactively identifying, influencing and managing the generalist range of HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle
- Coaching, advising and influencing managers to drive successful business outcomes
- Leading People, Culture and Capability projects and activities
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes
- Partnering with the portfolio leaders to drive workforce planning, talent and capability building
- Assisting the People and Capability Manager with strategic initiatives to enable DevelopmentWA to attract, manage, develop and retain key talent
- About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes :
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role across the full range of generalist HR activities, ideally within a commercial or complex environment
- Strong and proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, coach and influence managers at all levels to build people management skills and achieve business and people outcomes
- Developed experience in supporting workforce development, including creating and implementing L&D initiatives
- Experience in managing escalated employee relations and performance management issues to appropriate outcomes
- Strong time management and proven customer service skills
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or similar
