The role :
Due to continued growth in our Environment business, we are looking for a Taxonomist / Flora Specialist to work in our passionate Flora & Vegetation Team. You will collaborate with a close-knit team who are experts in the field of botany, with demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive detailed flora and vegetation surveys, targeted significant species surveys, technical reporting, and impact assessments.
Based in our very own herbarium located at our Perth office, you will be responsible for undertaking plant identifications collected by our staff across most bioregions of Western Australia. Additionally, as part of this role, you will manage and maintain the in-house herbarium and contribute to the professional growth of our team of botanists through mentoring and knowledge sharing. We have an exciting pipeline of current and upcoming projects and you will be well-supported by our management team.
