Project Controls Officersto join our team.About The OpportunityThe Project Controls Officer provides both administrative and technical support for project control activities, helping to ensure that UON's project portfolio is tracked and managed effectively, delivered on schedule, within budget, and meeting the necessary quality standards.
Monitor, track, forecast and report on portfolio of projects, and Business Unit financial performance, asset utilisation and trends.Generating internal and client-facing reports on project progress, costs, and performance.Developing, maintaining, and monitoring project budgets and forecasts.Define, monitor and update aggregated expenditure and revenue forecasts for project portfolio.Generating future work plan for work in hand, and likely contracts, assigning and forecasting required resources and plans.Ensuring compliance with project procedures and requirements.About YouStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.Strong time-management skills, with the ability to set reporting calendars and producing reports against strict timelines.Assist Project Managers in quantifying a deterministic and probabilistic project outcome summary.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, cost control, or project coordination.Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.Familiar with mainstream business ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Myob, NetSuite, Pronto)Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power BI viewed favourably.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with project scheduling and cost management systems.Exposure to risk management processes and reporting metrics.
