Our target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer- Civil to work on our upcoming (Battery Energy Storage System) BESS Project in Western Australia (WA).This position is site-based FIFO / DIDO in Western AustraliaABOUT THE ROLEThis role is responsible for focusing on projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures.

The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements made with the clientYour duties and responsibilities will include : Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervisionConsult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areasSupervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activitiesControl and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, with equipment suppliers and subcontractorsAssist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projectsYour skills and experience : Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent.Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy / utilities projects.Valid Driver's LicenseProficient skills in computers : MS Word, Excel, Teams, OutlookStrong communication skills (oral & written), including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.ABOUT UGLUGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services.
