- Essential to success in this role will be assisting with the auditing of data, and the creation, documentation and implementation of streamlined processes culminating in Village Manager onboarding and upskilling training tools in anticipation of changing Retirement Village Act expectations.
- The Operational Support Officer will review and report on existing policies and procedures, including development of best practice documentation, and coordinate the provision of secretarial and general administration assistance to Retirement Living Operations and other village management staff. This includes assistance in upcoming and ongoing resident data validation projects, including audit of CRM / CIM data and provision of feedback regarding process improvement to ensure greater document / data control.
- The Operational Support Officer will uphold the requirements of the Retirement Village Act by promoting healthy aging to support continued independence for residents; through KPI development of internal referral processes to enable seamless links to services that support continued independence within Southern Cross Care's portfolio, including Health and Wellness, Community Services and Residential Aged Care Facilities.

- About you
- Demonstrated experience in Retirement Village operations
- Strong working knowledge of Retirement Villages Act is mandatory
- Demonstrated effective communication skills with a wide range of people and the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with mínimal supervision, whilst taking ownership of own workload to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role
