Our client is an outstanding WA based property group and its diverse portfolio includes the development and management of quality retail, commercial and hospitality properties across Western Australia.
They are now seeking an established Facilities Manager to join the team. As the Facilities Manager will work across a portfolio of office buildings in the CBD, ensuring operational functionality of these assets.
Your role will be responsible for providing technical and operational process support for the asset, along with;Managing asset issues and coordinating efficient and effective responses.Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.Ensuring assets are kept to a high standard of presentation.Tendering service contracts as required, making recommendations and obtain relevant approvals to enter into contracts, as directed by the Office Portfolio Manager.Assist to maintain an asset register of all plant and equipment.Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.Supervising delivery of base building projects, renovations or refurbishments.Develop and implement Sustainability initiatives and best practices.Developing appropriate scopes of works and contract documentation to allow contracts to be tendered.Minimum 5 years' experience in a facilities management role in a commercial office building environment.Trade or technical background advantageous.Competent across WHS, QA and ideally environmental legislation and systems.Familiarity with the operation of Building Services (lifts, fire, electrical etc.) and services delivery.High level written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on analysis and strategic planning.Ability in financial, budgeting, forecasting, business planning and contract monitoring.High level in analysis, evaluation and recommendation processes.Well-organised and methodical manner.High level of knowledge in current computer software.You will be rewarded working with the industry elite working with a friendly & supportive group of individuals.
