About The Role

Our Tours and Marine workshop division at Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari, is seeking an experienced Detailer to maintain our fleet vehicles in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition.

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional K'gari exploration experience through well-maintained, comfortable, and safe vehicles.

This is a permanent part-time role requiring overnight stays at Kingfisher Bay Resort staff accommodation during shifts, on a rotating roster of 7 days per fortnight (staying on the island 5 nights per fortnight).

The ideal candidate would reside near Hervey Bay and be flexible to stay overnight on the island.

Key Role Requirements

Provide cleaning and detailing services for a rotating fleet of buses and various vehicles, including interior cleaning, vacuuming, engine cleaning, and underbody washing.

Handle minor repairs and apply touch-up finishes to remove scratches.

Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices in compliance with legislative requirements.

Operate heavy vehicles, including buses and water trucks, as needed.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in auto detailing preferred.

Ability to perform physical work for extended periods.

Minimum QLD MR driver's license required or willingness to obtain one.

Experience in paint restoration is required.
