We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate employment tax specialist to join our Global Tax Group in Australia on a 6-month fixed term contract, with the option to extend. The role encompasses employment, expatriate, social security and payroll tax advisory for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional seeking commercial experience in an advisory capacity.

• Job Summary

This advisory role supports two Managers for ANZ and within the Asia Pacific region. In addition to the ANZ geographical responsibilities, the Specialist will also have the opportunity to contribute to expatriate, payroll & employment tax initiatives for the broader Growth Markets region and / or globally on an optional basis. The role presents ample opportunities for learning, growth, and development.

The Specialist will be required to closely partner with Corporate Tax, Payroll, Global Mobility and Legal teams to provide guidance and direction on the development, controls, and oversight of our employment tax compliance programs and related initiatives.

Responsibilities will include the following :

Reports to : ANZ and Growth Markets Employment Tax Leads

Supervises : No direct reports

External Relationships : Payroll team, tax service provider(s), tax authorities, business stakeholders, Global Mobility Leads, onshore and offshore teams.
