Are you experienced in Accounts Receivable and familiar with the complexities of milestone-driven invoicing or manufacturing environments? We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave.

This short term (7-8 months) position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and detail-driven setting, has a strong grasp of contract reconciliation, and can confidently manage progress payments and milestone-based invoicing.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES : Contract to Invoicing Reconciliation : Ensure alignment between contracts and invoicesMaintain accurate reconciliation records and follow up on discrepanciesProgress Payments : Track and manage project-related paymentsLiaise with project managers to trigger milestone billingInvoicing : Prepare and issue invoices in line with contractual agreementsMonitor and manage invoicing schedulesDisbursements : Review weekly / monthly on-charged disbursementsCollate and issue supporting documentation with client invoicesRevenue Collections : Follow up on outstanding paymentsKeep the Finance Manager informed of issues or delaysFinance Support : Assist with month-end close, audits, payment processing, and reportingProvide general support to the CFO, Finance & Accounting Manager, and finance team as requiredWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR : Must have full working rights for AustraliaMust be based in Melbourne for immediate startMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero).Experience in SAP B1 advantageous, but not essential.Proven experience in Accounts Receivable within a manufacturing, project-based, or contract milestone-driven environmentHigh attention to detail and strong reconciliation skillsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamREADY TO APPLY?
