The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler will work in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisors and is responsible for establishing and planning maintenance activities (including shutdowns), determining maintenance priorities across the whole of site, and monitoring maintenance execution against plans for all Company assets including fixed plant, mobile equipment, and infrastructure.

The Company BCI Minerals Limited (ASX : BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

Using an inexhaustible seawater resource and 99% of the energy required produced by natural solar and wind energy, our Mardie project is a multi-generational sustainable opportunity that will supply the growing chemical, renewable energy, and agricultural industries with Salt and Sulphate of Potash for generations to come.

The Role To be successful in this role, you will be a forward-thinking Maintenance Planner with a passion for precision. We're looking for an organised individual who can reduce downtime and ensure our operation run safely, efficiently, and effectively. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring labour, materials, and equipment are ready for execution. You'll prioritise and review work orders, plan and monitor scheduled shutdowns, and collaborate closely with Supervisors and contractors to make sure everything runs like clockwork.

Your input will directly influence asset efficiency, budget planning, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by overseeing the full end-to-end operations of the site. You'll engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders alike, ensuring strong communication, seamless planning, and a culture that values safety, accountability, and teamwork. Whilst you will be based in West Perth, this role includes regular site visits to strengthen relationships and stay connected with the team onsite.

About You : The successful candidate will hold 5+ years of proven planning and scheduling experience, ideally within the mining industry. You will hold a mechanical or electrical trade qualification—or a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering—along with being confident using CMMS (with PRONTO experience highly regarded). The successful candidate will be proficient across the MS Office suite including Excel, Project, and SharePoint. Involvement in budget review and management will be highly regarded. Previous experience in the salt industry will be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 3 months.

You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
