Southern Cross School of Business (SCSB) is a Registered Training Organisation providing industry based vocational education and ELICOS training. SCSB campuses are located in Sydney and Melbourne.
SCSB is seeking to employ suitably qualified and experienced ELICOS Trainer for the Melbourne Campus. The success of our courses and growth in student enrolments will be dependent upon excellent delivery and a strong reputation of SCSB teaching staff.
This advertised position is permanent part time with possibility of ongoing engagement.
- Position Overview
- Deliver and assess the ELICOS Program.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans with clear objectives.
- Create student resources and maintain their development.
- Record and maintain all assessment results in accordance with Institute procedures.
- Monitor student progress and provide comprehensive intervention strategies for support.
- Assist with student resource development.
- Participate in industry consultation, moderation, staff, and validation meetings.
- Cultivate an engaging and positive learning environment for students.
- Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following essential requirements :
TESOL / CELTA certificate or any related degree.Experience in managing and / or teaching ELICOS programs.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.Minimum of 2 years of ELICOS teaching experience.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Availability to teach both the AM and PM sessions.How to ApplyCover letter.Current resume.Two professional referees (we will not contact references without your consent).Job TypesPart-time, PermanentSchedule :
