The Client : Love Eyebrow Parlour is a beauty therapy salon located in Greensborough, VIC.

They are now looking for an experienced and skilled Beauty Therapist to join their team.The Role : This Beauty Therapist role is for a full-time role with an annual salary from $73,150 - $75,000 + Superannuation and will be based in Pakenham, VIC.The Responsibilities : Perform beauty, skin care, and body treatments to meet client needs.Discuss client requirements, analyze skin characteristics, and recommend suitable treatments.Advise clients on appropriate skin care routines and customize facials to align with their specific needs.Provide hair removal services, including waxing, threading (eyebrows), and lash and brow tinting.Offer expert advice on cosmetic products and facilitate sales.Adhere to all practice policies and protocols.Accurately complete Wellness Chart documentation for each client.Assess clients' tissue conditions, joint quality, muscle strength, and range of motion.Maintain detailed records of client medical histories, including injuries or conditions such as diabetes.Design treatment sessions tailored to address client-specific concerns or problem areas.Develop and recommend treatment plans specifying massage techniques suited to individual client needs.Blend and apply customized oils during massages for enhanced client experience.Communicate effectively with clients during treatments, adjusting techniques as required.Perform therapeutic massages, including muscle kneading and soft tissue manipulation, to address medical conditions, injuries, or promote wellness.Participate actively in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.Provide 30 to 60-minute facial treatments and massages for both scheduled appointments and walk-in clients.Guide clients in selecting treatments and services best suited to their needs.Conduct specialized therapies such as hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal massages, based on training and qualifications.Promote various offers and communicate ongoing promotions to clients.Assist with reception tasks and general housekeeping duties as needed.The Requirements : Relevant trade qualifications in Beauty Therapy or related fieldMinimum of 1 year experience in a professional and employed capacityMinimum of 1 year proficiency in beauty treatments such as threading, waxing, tinting, and depilationMinimum of 1 year experience in performing nail art, and artificial nail applicationMinimum of 1 year experience with hair removal techniques, including waxing, bleaching, and threadingCompetence in using salon tools and equipment while maintaining hygiene standardsStrong understanding of beauty therapy processes and evaluation of treatment outcomesCapability to manage client bookings and maintain accurate client recordsExcellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent grooming and presentation standardsDemonstrated maturity and pro-active work attitudeMust be able to work SaturdaysAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
