The Opportunity
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the Group’s core tax and financial accounting functions, including :
- Preparing statutory accounts, income tax returns, GST and FBT for Australian and New Zealand entities
- Leading tax effect accounting and year-end note disclosures
- Ensuring general ledger integrity, month-end close, and P&L reviews
- Supporting internal and external audits and preparing accounting position papers
- Advising on technical tax matters and legislative changes
- Driving system and process improvements across tax and financial reporting
- Acting as a trusted liaison between finance, auditors, and wider business units
Your Profile
CA / CPA qualified with 3–5+ years post-qualified experienceStrong technical grounding from Big 4 / mid-tier tax or audit, or a corporate environmentAdvanced understanding of income tax, deferred tax, GST, FBT and statutory reportingExcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to confidently engage stakeholders
